Scenarios based on the Arctic region and the South China Sea will test the students’ ability to formulate strategies that balance the U.S.’s ability to coerce, induce, and persuade regional actors, and challenge their ability to adjust strategic goals based on new injects. CASL will also provide ongoing support throughout the semester in gathering relevant background materials and academic writings to ensure participants are well versed in the unique regional dynamics in which the scenario takes place.</p>
