Mr. Sanjeet K. Deka

Instructor, Strategy and Operations Division

Sanjeet K. DekaMr. Sanjeet K. Deka is an Instructor in the Strategy and Operations division. He earned a Master’s in Global Policy Studies from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin in 2010. He specialized in Security Studies and Diplomacy. 

He recently served as a Researcher at the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law, working on a year-long Department of Defense funded grant exploring vulnerabilities in North Africa and implications on U.S. security policy in the region.

Mr. Deka was also selected for a Fellowship in the Office of Texas Governor Rick Perry, where he worked in the Division of Disaster Recovery and Renewal focusing on citizen outreach and new business development opportunities in hurricane affected areas. He graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Political Science in 2007.

He has expertise in domestic and international developments regarding the carbon energy industry, including aggregate oil and gas disruptions, and petro state issues. His regional interest includes South Asia including current events in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
